Sharlyn Homola is owner of Homola Horse Haven, in Umpqua, Oregon. Sharlyn has offered up a place for a horse to stay on short-term (either a foster home or an overnight for horse in transit). She and her family are located within 15 minutes of I-5 in SW Oregon (near Roseburg). They are willing to offer up a substantially reduced (or possibly free) rate for a horse in need (that's in transit). Sharlyn has also volunteered to foster a horse in need. She has 2 Arabians, as well as an older TB gelding.

Danette Rodriguez and her family are located in Alvin, Texas, on 2 acres, where they have an 18 year old mare which now could use a new friend. They would like to find a horse that they can enjoy, and their mare can be friends with. They don't want a companion-only horse. Danette states that the horse they would be looking to rehome is fine if he/she needs weight, but no major medical problems.

Terri Shafer has room for 1 gelding or 1 stallion. This offer to rehome a special guy(s) does have slight restrictions. The individuals can not be less then 5 years old or over 18 year old. They must also be broke to ride and safe for a beginner adult. Terri has some muscle control issues, so she'd like to take in a therapy-type horse, or at least a disposition to be that of the ability to handle slight missed cues by the rider. Also the horse(s) need to be close to the MO/KS/OK borders for pick up (unless transportation is provided to my place). In return for helping me get back to the rider I used to be, this special horse will receive 5 acres to play on with 2 other geldings and plenty of hay during the winter and lots of grass to graze during the summer, plus Terri's undying appreciation for helping her with her riding therapy. Terri owns her place outright so there's no chance of repossession and she states she does NOT sell horses. She's had her oldest gelding since 2000 and had him transported from California along with his 6 year old buddy that she's had since 2002. Terri has no mares on sight nor does her neighbors, so having a stallion is not an issue. If you have a horse that needs rehoming, and Terri might be an ideal new owner.

Sarah Lindaman, of Hopedale, Illinois can take one Arabian. They have Morgans and Arabians, and are looking for one that is rideable but does not really matter age, size, sex. They have 3 Morgan studs at home and state that a safe stallion would be fine. They could really use a horse that could be used as a lesson horse for 1 - 2 days a week for kids that are 6 to 12 years old. Does not have to be anything fancy ... just an Arabian. If you have a horse in need of rehoming, that would work for Ms. Lindaman.
